QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Know the details.
Plan with confidence.
A practical guide to the two booking experiences and the limits of these sample estimates.
What is Part Truck Load (PTL)?
PTL is a shared-load arrangement: your packed consignment travels alongside other consignments on a selected route. Charges depend on chargeable weight, cargo type, handling and the agreed pickup/delivery scope.
How is chargeable weight calculated?
This demo compares total actual weight with volumetric weight: length × width × height in cm × number of identical packages ÷ 4,500. The higher weight is billed, rounded up to a whole kg. The divisor is illustrative and must be confirmed with the actual operator.
When should I choose a full vehicle?
Choose a dedicated vehicle when the load, handling needs or delivery plan calls for exclusive capacity. Check payload, body size, access and cargo compatibility before deciding.
Are the schedules and prices live?
No. This website is a demonstration. Routes, schedules, transit windows, rates and vehicle categories are examples. No capacity is reserved, driver assigned or real shipment booked.
What is excluded from the estimates?
Taxes, tolls, insurance/valuation cover, unusual loading, storage, detention, restricted access and special permits are excluded. Optional first/last-mile fees shown in the demo are illustrative. Final terms require operator confirmation.
Can I send hazardous or perishable goods?
This demo supports only ordinary, declared, non-hazardous general cargo. Hazardous, perishable, high-value, prohibited or unusually heavy goods need a separate operator review and are not accepted through the calculator.
Does submitting an enquiry book transport?
No. The static demo saves a summary in your browser and shows a demo reference. It does not send a lead or confirm a booking. Connect the actual operator’s contact and booking system for real use.
